Positivity & Mental Health

Hey guys, it's flynn and I'm feeling very overwhelmed with happiness right now so don't expect this to have too much structure. This post is meant to be about Postivity & Mental Health so I thought I'd write it whilst in a very high state of positivity. I'm just having an amazing time in my life right now and obviously life is going to get a lot more tough once I go back to school because I'm going into year 11. However, I'm trying to stay positive about that sooo yeah. But as for Mental Health I just wanted to talk a bit about it but I didn't really want to be on a complete downer while writing a blog post because that's just not fun. And I feel like that's just a given with this type of thing. I didn't want to talk about my experiences as of now because I'm doing so well but don't worry I will be posting more about Mental Health as it is obviously an important part of my life. I apologise if this was slightly disappointing but I hope you stay tuned for more in November / January!

Not Worth Your Rainbow Tears

Hey guys, it's flynn and today I'm going to be talking a lil bit about Sexuality in high school. So obviously a lot of people start to question their Sexuality in high school around the age of 13-16 (understandably considering the hormones) and this isn't always easy. Don't worry if you're questioning yourself, don't worry if you don't have a label that fits yourself and don't worry about telling people but most importantly don't worry about what people say! I know that sounds easier said than done but trust me once you manage to ignore the idiots you'll feel much much better! Coming out often depends on the school you go to and/or your parents. If you go to a catholic school (like I used to) then it may not be the best idea to come out (as with catholic parents). However, if you really want to then go for it, I did! Also if you go to an unaccepting school but your parents are accepting then maybe consider asking your parents if you can move so you can feel more like yourself. I know I feel more like myself now that more people know and know that I had hard times to it's wasn't easy for me either. No one is immune to pain and just because I'm sat here typing this saying "oh everything is great for me now!" doesn't mean it always has been. Please don't be afraid to be who you are and don't worry about any of it because honestly the worst that can happen (from a UK perspective) is you lose some friends but you know what as long as you're parents are accepting and you're safe, those people don't matter. Anyone who treats you differently or stops talking to you/is mean or rude to you after you come out to them is not worth getting upset about. Getting Real With Flynn

Hey guys, it's flynn and today I thought I'd get a bit more real with you guys and just give you a lil life update. So recently I've not been very well and I had to deal with the generic "do you have a partner?" "are you sexually active?" "could you be pregnant?" questions from the doctor to which I had to respond "no, no, no". However, my mental health has improved majorly (not sure how long that'll last through year 11 but I'm trying to stay positive) and I think that this blog is really helping and I hope it helps some of you guys too. Reach For The Stars

Hey guys it's flynn and back to school season is inevitably upon us. If you're like me and get nervous about back to school (especially if you're doing you're GCSEs this year) then this post is for you! I hope you don't let nerves ruin the rest of your summer, like I have in the past. I wish you all the best summer and start of school whatever year you may be going into and I hope you enjoy the post!

1st Tip: Don't get stressed about work, don't leave it too late but also don't try to do it all at once. If you feel overwhelmed then stop for a minute and don't worry about what you have to finish. 

2nd Tip: Be organised! If you're like me, you'll find that buying new back to school stationary and organisational stuff is a ton of fun! (especially when they're colour co-ordinated) And try not to give up halfway through the year.

3rd Tip: Ignore people. I don't mean this in the sense that you should ignore everyone and focus on your work because unless that is your natural instinct you're not going to be very happy. However, you don't need negativity in your life so block out the haters and bring on the love, especially as it's nearing Christmas! 

4th Tip: Stay happy, a wise Tanya Burr once said "I always like to make sure I have something to look forward to" and I've lived by that ever since! This can mean having treats once you've finished your homework or half an essay and it's can also mean in general! I have an annual Halloween party and it's something I look forward to every year, plan something with your friends to keep your mood up! 

5th Tip: Revise, pay attention and don't be swayed by idiots that don't care. Growing up there will always be the people who just want to f*** around and end up working in Mackie's but when reality hits they'll regret it and so will you if you end up working in a supermarket instead of being a Stylist,Doctor,Musician or Writer! You can be anything you dream (if you work hard enough) so reach for the stars angels!

MY LATEST OBSESSIONS(#flynnsfavourites)☀️

Hey guys it's flynn. Sorry it's been a while but let's just jump into this post. As you probably know, I don't like doing favourites so I'm going to be doing a series called #flynnsfavourites and will be spreading the hashtag on things I've been loving this past however long. They may not be very regular but I promise they will come. They will also have catagories including food,hair,fashion,tv and makeup. So anyway, the first thing on my list is...

Food:

1.Mint Aero-I've been obsessed with these for the longest time but especially recently, they're one of my favourite chocolates (hint, hint😉) 

Hair:

2.Elvive-I've been loving their shampoo and conditioner they're amazing and they smell gorgeous whilst keeping my colour.

Fashion:

3.Charity shops/Thrift shops-I lovee going to charity shops and I recently got some amazing pieces whilst on holiday.

TV:

4.Supernatural-A friend of mine got me into it and honestly it's life changing. Go check it out if you're ready to commit to 13+ seasons!

Makeup/Beauty&Bath/Nails

5.Acrylics-I currently have the most gorgeous burgundy acrylic nails on done by @poutormskirk on Instagram and I'm absolutely loving them, kinda hard to type though😂

Hey guys! It's flynn, so sorry I didn't post last week I was on holiday and honestly I'm not feeling doing favourites anymore, I hope you guys understand as I just don't enjoy them. So anyway, today I'm going to be posting something a little different which is kind of my vibe so I hope you like it! 1.James Charles-He's an actual babe, his makeup skills slay my life and honestly I aspire to be as good as him at makeup and seriously want him to do my makeup one day.

1.Mia Jenkins-I love Mia's glasses they're sooo cute!

2.Sabrina Carpenter-Honestly you just need to look at the pics to understand why I love Sabrina's style.

3.Jessie Paege-Jessie is so original and I love how colourful she is!

4.Mackenzie Davis-Mackenzie has such a unique and aesthetic style.

5.Ava Grindley-Ava is gorgeous, I love how cute her style is!

6.Arden Rose-Arden is adorable and I love pretty much everything she wears.

7.Melanie Murphy-Melanie is sooooo cute, she likes to dress like an oversized child which I love.

8.Melanie Martinez-Melanie's doll like style is gorgeous and sooo vintage.

9.Laurie Elle-Laurie is beautiful and her style is vv cute, if you like pink then Laurie is for you!

10.Lauren Jauregui-Lauren is such a babe, just look at her!

Hair:

1.Mackenzie Davis-I had red hair so it looked like Mackenzie's but I love her hair especially when it's curled!

2.Zoe Sugg-Her hair is sooo cute omg. 

3.Mckenna Kaelin-I love her pink hair but she looks gorgeous with black/dark brown as well! 

4.Jessie Paege-Her pink hair slays my life and my favourite was when she had bright pink and purple! 

5.Niki DeMartino-I love her blue hair! I'm dying the bottom of mine blue when I go to college but probably more of a turquoise but Niki's is still cute. 

6.Melanie Murphy-She just got copper balayage (I can't spell) but I love her dark brown hair sooo much!

7.Laurie Elle-Her hair is sooo pretty, if you love brown hair and curls definitely check out Laurie!

8.Camila Mendes-I loveee Camila's Black/Midnight Blue hair it's gorgeous!

Life:

1.Rowan Blanchard-Queen of the feminists, wasn't afraid to come out, equals absolute goals!

2.Shannon Beveridge-She's gorgeous for one and I just all round aspire to be like her. 

3.Rose Dix & Rosie Spaughton-Pretty much the same goes for Rose & Rosie, they're just complete couple goals! 

4.Melanie Murphy-I'm so proud of Melanie and everything she's done on her channel and all she stands for. 

5.Dr. Mayim Bialik-Now Mayim is definitely a girl that sticks with her beliefs and doesn't let anyone tell her otherwise. She's amazing, she raised 3 kids on her own and went back into acting instead of doing what she wanted to because it paid better and she needed to support her family, a true queen! 

Music:

1.Halsey-Her new album just came out and to be honest strangers is my life I just aspire to be all that she is!

2.Melanie Martinez-Her imagination is amazing and I've already been told I have a vivid imagination so one day I'd like to do something similar. 

3.Sabrina Carpenter-Sabrina is Queen Bee when it comes to music, all I aspire to do in music is write a song as good as Smoke & Fire! 

4.Lauren Jauregui-I loveee her new song, Strangers, with Halsey it's sooo amazing, since their both bi it has female pronouns which I obviously love! 

5.Camila Cabello-To be honest I wouldn't survive in a girl band either Camila😂
